Dear Friends of the Valli A. Kirk Foundation,

As you well know, our family lost Valli to cancer in 2005. She was a very special person. Valli embraced nursing as a vocation not just a job. When faced with a grave diagnosis, she never gave in to her illness. Her love of and experience with medicine helped her participate in clinical trails of cutting edge treatments to further search for a cure and give herself more time with family and friends. When she passed away the whole community grieved with us. We were touched very much by the outpouring of support from friends such as yourself.

To honor her dedication to Jesus Christ and her career in Nursing for over thirty years we are proud to announce to you that we have established the Valli A. Kirk Foundation. This foundation provides college nursing scholarship’s to incoming college students. This foundation is a fully authorized 501 c (3). So contributions are tax deductible as charitable giving. We hope to extend the memory of Valli and help to inspire a new generation to pursue a degree in nursing.
